Computer Parts

Computer Parts

Computer is a man-made electronic machine. It is made up of different parts. All the parts together make a computer system.
All the parts shown above are basic parts of a computer.
Let's learn first the Qualities of a computer which make it a special machine.

Qualities of a computer

Speed = A Computer can do millions of action per second.

Accuracy = A computer cannot make any mistake on its own.

Storage = A computer can store huge amount of data.

Multi Purpose = A computer can do different types of work at a time.

Tirelessness = A computer can work continuously for a long time without getting tired.

Basic part of computer

A computer has four basic parts. there are Keyboard, CPU, monitor, and Mouse.

Keyboard

A computer keyboard is an input device used to enter characters and functions into the computer system by pressing buttons, or keys. It is the primary device used to enter text. A keyboard typically contains keys for individual letters, numbers and special characters, as well as keys for specific functions.

CPU

The computer does its primary work in a part of the machine we cannot see, a control center that converts data input to information output. This control center, called the central processing unit (CPU), is a highly complex, extensive set of electronic circuitry that executes stored program instructions.

Monitor

The display provides instant feedback by showing you text and graphic images as you work or play. Most desktop displays use liquid crystal display (LCD) or cathode ray tube (CRT) technology, while nearly all portable computing devices such as laptops incorporate LCD technology.

Mouse

computer mouse (plural mice or mouses) is a hand-held pointing device that detects two-dimensional motion relative to a surface. This motion is typically translated into the motion of a pointer on a display, which allows a smooth control of the graphical user interface of a computer.

Printer

printer is a device that accepts text and graphic output from a computer and transfers the information to paper, usually to standard size sheets of paper. Printers vary in size, speed, sophistication, and cost. In general, more expensive printers are used for higher-resolution color printing.

CD/DVD Drive

An optical disc drive that reads and writes all common CD and DVD formats. All modern optical drives that come with personal computers are CD/DVD drives. ... THIS DEFINITION IS FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY. All other reproduction requires permission.

USB

Thanks." A USB port allows USB devices such as USB flash drive, pen drive, external hard drive or SD card etc devices to be connected to the computer or other digital devices and guarantees the transfer of digital data through USB cables

Hard Disk

hard disk drive (HDD), hard diskhard drive, or fixed disk is an electro-mechanical data storage device that uses magnetic storage to store and retrieve digital data using one or more rigid rapidly rotating platters coated with magnetic material.

Floppy Disk

floppy disk is a magnetic storage medium for computer systems. The floppy disk is composed of a thin, flexible magnetic disk sealed in a square plastic carrier. In order to read and write data from a floppy disk, a computer system must have a floppy disk drive (FDD).

thank you so much.
